The Valentinian Dynasty, also known as the Valentinianic Dynasty was a Roman dynasty that ruled over the Western Roman Empire between AD 364 and AD 392 and the Eastern Roman Empire between AD 364 and AD 378.

Theodosian Dynasty
The Valentinian Dynasty was related to the Theodosian Dynasty through the marriage of Theodosius I to the daughter of Valentinian I (AD 364–375). Theodosius I had a daughter named Galla Placidia whose son Valentinian III would become the Emperor of the Western Roman Empire between AD 425 and AD 455.
Valentinian III would be the last ruler from either dynasty however, his kin would continue to live in Constantinople until the closing of the 6th century AD.
